Summer Break Bros started the way a lot of good things do, with a setback. When Carston, a business student studying entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona, had his summer internship cancelled at the last minute, he decided not to waste the summer. Instead of waiting around for another opportunity, he bet on himself and built one from the ground up.
The idea was simple: homeowners need their mulch hauled, spread, and cleaned up, and a crew of hardworking college guys would rather be outside earning their way through school than stuck behind a desk. So Carston grabbed his truck, called up his buddies, and got to work.
